Fantasy Casting Call: Who Would Play Your MC?

This series shamelessly yoinked from Christine Tyler.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who daydreams about who will would play their characters when if their book ever forthelove gets published and makes it to the big screen.

Am I?

Nope, didn't think so. In fact, I waste a lot of time Googling pictures of different actors, agonizing over the different choices so much you'd think it was my sworn duty to find actors IMMEDIATELY to fill the roles of the characters in my...thus far rough, rough first draft story. *cough* Don't worry, I'm working on it. Any day now.

My main character is a sixteen-year-old girl named Tenny. She loves music, and music is a huge part of the story. She's friendly and level-headed, with a girl-next-door vibe, but also naive and yeah, a bit spoiled. She also has an ethereal look about her that makes her freaky at all the right times.

For her I would choose Annasophia Robb.

Not only is she lovely, she's tomboyish, too!

And, she can bring the attitude. BRING IT.

Don't mess with her when she's in this mood. Or if you're the bad guy.

I think Annasophia (did you guys know she pronounces it "AHH-nuh"? I didn't, but it makes me like her even more.) could do it all.

The pretty:

The quirky:

And the cool:

I don't know. He's a 12-year-old half-Bolivian dude with long hair. Any ideas?

By the way, Annasophia is adorable :)

My MC might look sort of like that dude in the broadway Spiderman show. Not that I have his face saved on my hard drive or anything. ;)

I was just looking for character inspiration photos the other day! I had an actress picked out, but then later I wasn't so sure. I guess I'm still working on it ;). But, it was originally Lauren Cohan (the way she looked on the show Chuck).

YOu have a very nice imagination. I haven't really thought of who I'd like to play my MC. Hmmmm.

I kind of hope my book (if it's ever, you know, a real thing), gets turned into a Pixar movie. That way, I won't have to pick real people... which scares me, for some reason. Also, I have a real-life friend named AHH-nuh, and it's the coolest ever.

P.s. Did you know that Annasophia Robb is also who Keirsten White said she'd want to play Evie? If Annasophia played Evie AND Tenny, I think the world would melt with awesome.

Um, not that *I* would be picking the real people. That came out weird.

Um, if I wrote a book, I'd want to play my own main character. I'm selfish like that. But...I love this choice for Tenny. I approve.

Is she the one from Bridge to Terabithia? Because I thought she was an amazing child-actor. Even better than her co-star, who I guess is playing Peeta in the Hunger Games. I like her! Would you have the moviestuds dye her hair even lighter? I imagine it like, way past cornsilk silver.
